Hi!

I first bought a DJI Mini 3 Pro out of eBay (UK) that was a display model. It was brand new though, worked perfectly. I bought the goggles 2 with it and applied the ham file to it as I live near a concrete heavy area and image was really blurry after a few hundred meters. After the ham file it worked perfectly.

Unfortunately it crashed, and I returned it to DJI service centre and they weren’t able to save the gimbal and gave me a new one instead. I was happy until I found out the ham file doesn’t work on it anymore.

It is very interesting as I thought the ham file has nothing to do with the drone but the goggles itself. However, same goggles and the ham file doesn’t work anymore - I even tried to reapply it but no luck even when managing so that the channel is not disabled to auto, but able to turn it to higher frequency. The image is very blurry very soon.

I’m considering alternatives as this is not really enjoyable like this. I looked at drone hacks, drone tweaks and in theory there is a guy in China from whom you can buy it from telegram.

I’m looking for a solution that is able to give me better stability and range just as with my display demo drone. If it would also work with both the Goggles 2 and the RC-N1 it would be an extra.

But my main question is what might have happened? Why the display demo was different? Are there looser restrictions on display demos or something?

Thanks
