DJI mini 3 pro loss of signal

Starting last month i started having issues when the signal from the mini 3 pro would randomly drop out, not 100m away but as close as above my head.
I spent the last couple of weeks testing various locations seeing if location was a factor. It wasn’t.
Anyway, opened a case on chat and was told to send it in for inspection, so i opened a case and sent it off.
Had a reply last night. The main board is faulty and needs a new one fitted and that will take 2-3 days.
BUT this is the weird bit, i thought it was well out of warranty, but apparently not, it is being repaired under warranty free of charge. Now me being the sceptic is this because i initiated the conversation through DJI chat. The last time i did that i had 6 Mavic 2 batteries that were 4 yrs old exchanged " under waranty"
Now the other strange bit. My “repaired” mini 3 is being delivered today.:man_shrugging: i think i may be getting a new one. :grin:

You got DJI Refresh on it ? They maybe replacing it using that so basically you have paid for it under refresh.

Or they have a load of Mini 3Pros sitting around and they just need to get rid of them so your one of the lucky ones.

DJI do really like to keep us all happy it seems. Cant fault them on that one.

No care refresh ran out and has been insured under cover drone insurance for the past 18 months. So well out of warranty.

Did it go back to Netherlands or the UK place?

Hance they might have had a batch of faulty boards they are aware of, so replacing under warranty as a known fault?

Brand new drone devilered.
My old controller returned. But new sticks included taped to the drone box :man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:
