I have only had my M3P a couple of months and today whilst flying at about 37m I initiated a RTH but the drone just turned round and flew in a straight line to the home point without going up to the preset RTH altitude of 100m. I did another test when I got home, flew it up to above the trees and then down the garden a few feet and again it just turned and returned without ascending. Looking back at my flight logs, it certainly has ascended in the past. Anyone have any ideas? I am on the latest firmware.

Mini 3 Pro and 0.03 miles converts to 48.2m

Thanks - it certainly does. I must remember that because it was only just high enough to miss some trees that I had previously flown around
