DJI Mini 3 Pro - Rumours, leaks, gossip and general discussion, reviews

@speatuk can supply the required info.

Received a message today from Heliguy that my order has been sent.

They seem to have further stocks of DJI Mini 3 Pro Combo (RCN1).

Yep I ordered on Thursday and got told delivery would be at the end of July and now I got a message to say that the drone arrives on Monday but not sure when the flymore kit will arrive

Thanks for that, ordered last night and delivery today before 12 noon (mini 3 pro with DJI RC) Looks like my mini 2 and mini 1 with fly mores will be up for sale soon. Just need to get the fly more kit for the 3 once it’s available again.

There is one in Hounslow Argos. I bought mine on Amazon few days ago, was in stock for more than 24hrs.

Make sure there is no receipt inside  I ordered a drone and fly more kit separately. Gonna show my wife kit receipt only, hahaha :joy:

Hope you like hospital food - you’ll never get away with it

Not worth planting it - definitely won’t grow!

Mini 3 with DJI RC arrived by DPD from Curry’s this morning, only ordered last night! Fly more on order from DJI but I don’t expect it anytime soon. Just checking things out at the mo but does the DJI RC only connect to Wi-Fi when it’s connected to the drone? I’ve set everything up and done a test flight and mini 3 back on charge. Thought I would have a look around the RC check any updates etc but just says it needs an internet connection. I did connect it to my home Wi-Fi during set up but I can’t find any way to connect to it again with the drone disconnected. Apologies if there’s an easy answer to this that I’ve missed.

Just had another thought…as the fly app gets updated over time, is the controller going to end up like the iPad mini 4 that can hardly run the app due to the processor not being able to cope. Easy enough to get a more modern iPad or phone but the RC isn’t available separately as far as I know.

If you swipe down from the top of the screen on the RC it should show the connections menu.

Did the latest firmware update yesterday evening and definitely noticed a speed improvement when doing video transfer to the phone. I’ve seen from the DJI forums that is doesn’t yet fix the problems with the 12MP raw images: if you import them into e.g. lightroom the correction data isn’t properly embedded so there’s a lot of vignetting. JPEGs are corrected and the appropriate correction info is in the 48MP raw images. It’s an annoying bug that should have been picked up early on, but I’m not going to throw my toys out of the pram over it!

I’m just recharging the controller (RCN1) and Mini 3 PRO as trying to get my dji flyer app to register it without success.

The flyer app shows my Mini and the Mavic air 2 and not the Mini 3 Pro as yet.

Some advice would be helpful please.

These arrived the other day and are a perfect fit of the Mini 3. Seem to be well made.
