DJI Mini 4 Pro and all other editions - Rumours, leaks, gossip and general discussion

That is the RC 1, the RC 2 has a totally different radio system, that is what DJI told me last week when mine had to go in for repair

The 120m in the EU has been withdrawn for now

Whatā€™s up guys :man_facepalming:t2:

How has it been removed? Another firmware update?

I see that on YT apparently an update yes.

Watch the video :grinning:

One of these, I expect ā€¦

I canā€™t.

Why not

Because the first three words of the video are:

WHATā€™S UP GUYS!

I didnā€™t get beyond that point.

There is noise now saying the height limit is in the app and DJI changed it without an update :scream:

Live server based settingsā€¦ (even more reason to use a dedicated drone phone without a sim) :+1:t2:

Thatā€™s only possible on their Android version because theyā€™ve bypassed the Google Play Store, what about all the iOS users out there?

Is that 100% genuine

Iā€™ll dig out the link from the dji-rev group :+1:t2:

Is it true about iOS version also are you sure they DJI canā€™t interact with it

Oh right, soz, misunderstood the question.

Nobody can update an iOS app that was installed from via Apple App Store. If you go the cydia/jailbreak route then anything is possible I guess.

In terms of interaction though, it depends how switched on DJI are, and if theyā€™ve read and implemented Deanoā€™s post:

Which is a scary thought :pensive:

Iā€™d guess DJI arenā€™t doing this, but itā€™s probably a question for the dii-rev guys ask theyā€™ve picked through the code closely enough. Iā€™m sure weā€™d have heard by now if DJI were controlling app settings / limitations remotely though.

I needed to know for sure, apparently, the 4 battery makes the 3 lighter than 249g.

When they introduced it by ā€œaccidentā€ on the Mini 3 series in June it was with a DJI Fly update.

I think itā€™s more a case of you can only get Ocusync 3 with the RC 1; itā€™s just software and I have no doubt itā€™s just a few firmware updates away from being able to be controlled by the RC1ā€¦
