ND Filters for the DJI Mini 4 Pro - do you need ND Filters ? In this video I do test and review them - the video is quiet long as it compares each color mode normal, HLG and D LOG M but it is time stamped if you are only interested in a specific color mode ! Hope it is of use to some of you and if you have any questions feel free to drop me a line - cheers Hieth
Not quite⌠This is new functionality theyâve released this week, re-introducing the hard 120m limit when flying in the EU, but also allowing users to permanently request a higher limit by clicking a button, removing the C0 label, taking a picture and uploading it.
Now, as I see it, this is beyond pointless for two reasons: 1, you can stick the sticker back on, or just photoshop it off, but 2, the current EASA rules grant full flying permissions for unclassified drones with a MTOM under 250 gms, which the Mini 4 Pro is, so as I see it, it actually makes sense for EU flyers to declassify their Mini 4 Pro by this new method so they donât have the hard 120m limit but can still fly anywhere a C0 drone can fly. Or am I missing something?
Was really meaning the âMini 4 v 120m restriction shenanigansâ rather than specifically âDJIâs latest flavour of global drone controlâ ⌠which will probably morph again soon.
And how does one travel from area to area, anyway?
Are you expected to buy a drone in/for each?
@OzoneVibe Agree with @ianinlondon David. This is another informative vid on same subject.
I wasnât disagreeing.
Itâs a sales ploy by DJI
Drone Hacks just see more income once theyâve sorted a hack.
At this moment itâs not possible without a hardware mod
But Drone tweaks works
Didnât say you were Dave.

Very interesting video Hieth, especially the tip at the end, good to know
Thanks Joe glad you found it useful - cheers Hieth
Hi All - If you are interested this will help you to reduce the screen reflections & glare on the DJI RC 2 for the DJI Mini 4 Pro and DJI Air 3
@Hieth Iâve used the matte film over my RC for some time now George and it works reasonably well. Didnât fancy the shade though, as I thought it bulky and would make it harder for me to get it in the flymore bag. Maybe members who use them would advise on their effectiveness and practicality.
Hi Just to let you know it still fits in the Flymore bag with is attached along with 2 spare batteries and a set of ND filters will share a photo if you what - cheers H
If anyone else was after a Wide Angle Lens for the M4P - which have been out of stock since launch - they now have them in the DJI Store.
Does using the night mode disable D-Log recording?

@Andy_B Night mode is only 8 BIT Andy so much less dynamic range and shadow detail. Lower ISO has less noise but less shadow detail. HLG which is 10 BIT, has much more dynamic range and shadow detail and seems to be very good for night video, but does requires grading.
