DJI Mini 4 Pro and all other editions - Rumours, leaks, gossip and general discussion

Not sure, just asked him. I guess it should, because his hack applies to the RC2, not the drone.

I will try, although applying his hack is a right faff. But better than having to reapply the DH hack before every flight.

Why have you not tried pairing your RC2 that already has it so you can test before you buy another patch for the new RC is what I thought you would maybe have tried.

Yeah, I could do. But I can’t be arsed with all the re-binding each time I want to fly either the Air 3 or the Mini 4 Pro. Plus then, I’d have a new RC2 sat here doing naff all.

I’ll apply Sincoder’s hack to the new RC2 and let you know how it went.

After all, what could possibly go wrong :man_shrugging:

A week ago on Friday, I mentioned on another thread

that my mini 4 pro had crashed, with the flight logs reporting initially ā€œmotor is stuckā€

I sent it off to DJI under warranty, and have received a replacement mini 4 pro - boxed and shrink wrapped like new.
Now that I have uploaded some flight logs to airdata, it is reported there as being manufactured in April 2024, some 3 months earlier than my crashed one.

So I guess it is a factory refurbished product, but I’m not complaining as I had flown 30 hours / 200km in the 11 months before it broke.

It would be interesting to be able to find out theh history of my new one, from its serial number, but I wouldn’t know where to start.

A modification that I will not be doing, is fitting non-standard propellors. I had Masterscrew ones installed, and I believe they caused the motor to block because they were sllightly larger and more flexible than the official ones. @emss had them fitted as well. I had flown 50 minutes with them, and all seemed fine, until it wasn’t!

Yes i would avoid airscrew propellers :100:
