Different batteries to Mini 3 then.
The model number of Mini 3 batteries end in 7.38. Whereas these Mini 4 look like they end in 7.32.
Bigger battery 2590mAh against the mini 3 at 2453mAH
The number at the end refers to the nominal voltage

- Larger battery also available in Europe, exceeding the maximum weight possible
- Special permission is required for drones over 249 grams in many countries
Thanks Wayne @SparkyFPV, not available in this country and not something I’d need anyway😁
Could that be for the US market, lots of Americans are complaining about linking to the net with the mobile phone for ID whilst flying?
No RID is something else, see Here
This is for cellular network connection, at the moment it’s only available in China but the rumours are it will be in Europe soon
Oh man that’s all a bit to techy for me, sim card, check with your supplier, sounds like flying phones
Just watched a 4 min video geeksvana, rumour has it RUMOUR, that the bigger battery may be available in the uk as well as eu, with the owner / flyer understanding the restrictions of it taking the drone over its sub weight, apparently DJI will be warning of the crossing over the 250g barrier.
He gets his info from here
Was the bigger battery for the M3P available in the eu but not in the uk ? Or have I missed something back then.
Edit : my bad misread back then.
but the mini 3 has the extended flight time battery option… which takes it over the 250g weight, so it looks like it will use the M3 batteries (the standard and extended one)… it’s an SE of the mini 3 pro in all but name
… so … who’s getting one first…?
3:59 too long
It’s a no from me.
My Italian isn’t that hot, but does it say that it uses the same battery charger as the 3 series? Would that then imply the same batteries are used in the drone itself?
It doesn’t actually say that - but the battery charger is described as ‘Mini 4 Pro/Mini 3 series’.
popping that into google translate it says
‘Two-way charging station for DJI mini 4 pro/mini 3 series’
So it possibly suggests so, or at least some compatibility between them
