I really wish DJI wouldn’t do things like this :point_up_2:t2:

Looks identical to last weeks firmware update eh?

On the face if it, DJI have today released a new Mini 4 Pro firmware, with the exact same release date in the release notes, and the exact same aircraft firmware version :man_facepalming:t2: :man_facepalming:t2: :man_facepalming:t2:

:man_facepalming:t2:

The actual difference on todays release is the RC2 firmware has been bumped from v02.02.0100 to v02.02.0200 and the Android app requirement bumped up to v1.13.9

And they added an extra under_score in to the release notes filename :man_facepalming:t2:

It actually must be really difficult to synchronise all the “drone model” / “RC model” combinations and their firmware releases … when one drone is compatible with multiple RCs, and those RCs compatible with several more drones … and those additional drones compatible with even more controllers … etc.

Trying to do a single update across all the compatibility combinations would only delay features/bug-fixes/etc from being released. (And probably make them more unreliable.)

Of course, it could be REALLY easy … if one drone only worked with one RC, and one RC only worked with one drone.

But then the customers would be up in arms that there was no Aircraft model / RC model crossover costing them more to have the same drone fleet.

And now I can’t help wondering if last weeks Mini 4 Pro v01.00.0600 firmware update did actually ship with the RC2 update to v02.02.0200 and that they just forgot to mention that in the release notes last week too :man_facepalming:t2:

Can any Mini 4 Pro owners confirm if new firmware is available to download today?

Yup… new firmware updated the RC2 and RC PRO controller but still no updates for the RC
…some people still stuck on 1.13.1 and others have 1.13.4
