Not if you fly outside of the UK and/or travel light when walking and climbing in the hills, as I like to do. My money will definitely be spent on the Mini 5 Pro, providing the leaked specs live up to the hype! That said, I will be getting the Air3s too, for days in the UK when the weather isn’t on my side.

Well Ive already got two C1 drones. Mavic 3 and Air2s so the new rules would be fine with me. However, I dont see how saying C1 drones will be able to fly almost anywhere is right. No intentional flying over uninvolved people, so to me that means no flying over any congested area. So not that much different to current rules. Saying “oh sorry I didnt realise I was flying over a town” isn’t really going to cut it with plod or a judge.
I hope Im wrong as I’m not renewing my OA next year as its become a total rip off and also my GVC runs out
.. if it has RAW photos during video capture .. for me.
So it ain’t ever going to happen.

I traded up to the Air 3S and did my A2 CofC to mitigate this not long ago, wind affecting the mini too often around here, as I live on top of a hill
