DJI Mini 5 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery "Plus" in the UK

Also on order here.

Jessops advertise that they price-match. Glad to see they’re not price-matching the £175 someone is trying to sell the same battery for on Amazon!

The Class marking applies to the U.K. from 1st Jan 2026 I think…

But the class marking proposed is UK0 etc, not C0 etc.

I’ve had a few bad experiences with Jessops with drones ordered at a good price and they cancel and take there time to return my money after many emails.

I thought nothing to lose if they aren’t going to charge until dispatched. LIAR bank notification in seconds confirming £85 taken.

I have no faith in them and seen cancel order in few days

They haven’t yet taken the money from my account from my order early Friday morning.

They did with me, i wonder as I did it as a guest ?

I got email like that but definitely no charges to my account yet (I just checked)

Did you check out as guest, I cannot screenshot my bank account but I can assure you it was taken out of the my bank account :+1:

Yes, as a guest.

I paid PayPal and it is still showing’pending’, nothing yet taken from my bank.

Still no payment taken.

I paid by debit card so maybe paying by PayPal there able to hold payment, unsure but tbh I’m not really bothered just the fact it’s the opposite to what they state.

Take back screenshot issue as in the pass my bank app did not allow it so I thought record and then screenshot the bank debit, I thought I give the three finger swipe and it worked :+1:

Spent a few quid last night and still live in hope of another mini 5 pro :winking_face_with_tongue:

Just checked jessops website.

Cant find the plus battery anymore???

Just spoke to a nice chap in kingston jessops

Words to the effect of..

Dji have told jessops that they wo t be supplying extended batteries to them.

Apparently, 48 people have pre ordered. They will be contacted to have the situation explained in more detail and any funds refunded.

TLDR: no extended batteries from jessops.

Nope, I paid using PayPal and the £85 was immediately taken out of the linked credit card.

Let’s see how long they take to refund when DJI refuse to allow Jessops to sell them.

Apparently they will contact all customers over the next day or 2.

The guy in the store today phoned up the jessops buyer bod to discuss it and this is what he was told. Hence the swift removal from the website too, i guess.

We did have a friendly chat about how silly this policy seems considering lots of uk pilots have a2 c of c or greater qualifications.

Or might want to fly it away from people :man_shrugging:

Indeed

I used time laspes of ships as a for instance.

Dumb from our point of view but as with so many laws and regs. They have to account for all the idiots out there.

Be the last time I ever entertain there site, they are the worse as every order gets cancelled and they cover there arse by stating there’s no agreement until it leaves the warehouse with tracking.

They need to be reported as there never in a rush to return funds.

I do wonder is it them putting a unbelievable deal then get thousands of customers paying it sits in there account making interest and looks good on the books as it’s a continuous cycle.

Was just going to say the same !
