DJI Mobile SDK - Litchi Beta Support

Mini2 is supported on IOS since 12 March 22.

Installed and tested on my Mac Mini 4 yesterday and it works a treat - nice to have Litchi back. (I used to use it on my Phantom 4 Pro). No issues so far.

Hi Wayne
My android version has just updated to 4.21.3-g
It does not say beta but is the g signifying it’s still beta?

Dave spotted and suggested the -g signifies Google App Store version, as the -a version is on the Amazon App Store.

Hi Steve,

There is no beta version at this moment so you are on the official release :+1:t2:

Thanks Wayne
I’ll re-run my test mission and see how the gimbal behaves this time :+1:

Have you updated the firmware on the A2s?
The ā€œcorrection of the SDKā€ was updated in the latest release of firmware. But it also removes the drone hacks exploit.
Wonder if that was the plan all along……?

I’m running Drones Tweaks, just the FCC bit.
Hoping this is not affected :crossed_fingers:

I’m sure you will let us know :crossed_fingers:t2:

New beta-version v4.22.0_beta-g Build 30004101

HI,
Did this yesterday,
It ran the mission correctly with camera pointing at designated POI’s as it should do.
So far so good

Not sure which of the Litchi threads to put this in, I’ll probably get it wrong.

I have stayed on Litchi beta version since the Mini 2 was added and keep it updated. Recently I’ve noticed the GPS map view in the bottom right corner sometimes screws up. It doesn’t show a location and I’ve no idea where in the world the rough ground map might be, but it’s the same rough ground every time this happens.

There’s no line to the drone, no blue dot and no home point. I close the app, clear all the apps, launch the app and it all works.

It usually happens after landing the drone & turning it off, turning off the controller and closing the app. I’ll walk to another location, turn on the drone, controller and launch the app and that’s when it screws up.

I’m not running Fly or anything else and the phone has 1 purpose, flying the drone. I haven’t defaulted any app to the controller, it will ask every time and I pick which one I want to use (I have Dronelink as well).

Anyone else noticed this?

Since you are still using the Beta version - moved your post to this thread.
Keeping the other thread for the official released.

New Litchi Beta v4.24.0_BETA-g 300004233
Removing 99-way point limit

Don’t think I ever found 99 a limit

v4.24.0_BETA-g build 300004251

Waypoints increased to 10,0000 :joy: should be a badge for the first to complete it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I wonder which models that will apply to?

I believe for the original MP it was a limit imposed by onboard firmware … and there’s not been an update since just before Noah’s ark floated away.

Can only imagine this is a ā€œvirtual sticksā€ type of function … since the waypoints are never uploaded.

(Kind of immaterial, since I think a current version of Litchi would crash in horror when it checked the onboard version number … that’s way before the last available. )
