I think my smartphone came in a bigger box
That’s only to try and justify their ridiculous price-tag.
Same ridiculous cheap screwdriver I see.
And hopefully it’s not the box making the annoying sound.
I see one big selling issue with this Neo.
Like the Avata, it’s probably going to be more controllable/fun using a motion controller and goggles … and I’m guessing it will be compatible with recent models of each?
So, the non-Flymore makes more sense … but adding the motion controller and goggles is a shit load of money in comparison to the £169.
Confirmed compatible with Goggles 3 and Motion 3 controller
Drone only with one battery and no controller
If one’s going for goggles/motion you only need Neo + a few batteries.
There is talk it will work with the RC-N2 controller
More aimed at them that already have the goggles and motion
£827 and then add care-refresh and more batterys
Disagree - they have an Avata - don’t really need Neo.
Neo+Goggles3+Motion3 = £827!!! (plus a few batteries, less discount from DSS).
That means Goggles+Motion are 80% of the cost.
The people attracted by the cheap £169 probably don’t have the additional £658. And it’s why I won’t be getting one.
Strange marketing.
The majority of the Avata flyers at the weekend were manual chaps
Although the 2 is very capable on the love toy
That’ll be because the Goggles and Motion controller are so expensive. #PointProven.
The neo with the love toy controller, will be ideal for those wet winter days, where is can be flown indoors.
The goggles 3 & MC3 come with the Avata 2 as standard and the Manual Controller is an additional £140.
I was just taking the m.

So I see you can use the phone to get the Neo to do things but can’t really tell if you can use the phone a bit like how you did with the Telo as a full controller as it seems you can just use it to do voice control stuff for the quick shots.
If you can use it without having a physical controller but just via phone then this could be quite a cool and useful drone for those that don’t have an OS4 compatible controller ( Mini 4 pro / Avata 2 etc )
Pitty Mini 3 controllers etc wont work with it or I would have one in my basket for sure.
Edit - I have just seen a video with the Drone Creative who shows that it can fly Telo style with little joysticks on screen on your phone - very cool
Well ordered the fly more from DroneSafe, comes with a free DJI baseball cap, delivery tomorrow, will be ideal for me
