DJI phantom 3 battery revival

Hi All new here, I currently own a DJI MINI 4 pro but in the process of submitting the flyaway service and waiting on a replacement.

In the mean time I have been given a DJI PHANTOM 3 unfortunately due to it being stood for some time. I think the batteries have failed. One of them is recognising the charger but just blinks red and green. The other just doesn’t acknowledge any charger what so ever.

Does any one have any tips on how to maybe bring the battery to life or methods to wake the battery up ?

Does anybody around the Manchester area have any I could maybe buy or even just 1 ? I’ve looked at places to order but coming back with February delivery or can someone help me with where to purchase please with quick delivery

Thank Dan

Hi @Skybydanny, it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

Have a read of the Battery Killer thread, it might support Phantoms? Take a look over here:

Amazon have some £60 delivered by Saturday with prime

Chances are your replacement drone will be with you a LOT quicker than you can recharge a delinquent Phantom battery. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Thank you

But it is good to have a Phantom in an airworthy condition for when your other aircraft goes swimming …

Hello all.

My name is Roge rand I am from the USA. I am currently living in Arizona.

I am looking to get a copy od the DJI Battery killer software. Can someone help me to understand how to obtain this?

I am a little confused on how to download the software. I really do not want extensions being added to my browser.

Thank you,

Roger

Hi Roger,

I’m not sure why you need browser extensions to download the software.

This link should work

That gets you the site with instructions. As the site owner says:

The DJI Battery Killer Software is managed by a Ukrainian who goes by the name Mixeysan. Who publishes his program through his website at ~~Redirecting... (This website is now seemingly dormant, but the Internet Archive link below still works).

Unfortunately, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the website’s uptime has been patchy. The best way to install it, I have found is through the Internet Archive:

Index of /drone/software

The files are *.7z format which any unzip program should be able to handle

Good luck
