Hi, not sure if this is the best place for this so happy if any mods want to move it if not.
My main drone for now is a Mini 4 Pro, and with the release of the new Mavic 4 pro and the RC Pro2 controller I decided to upgrade to the new controller.
With that, I purchased a Meijia hard case from Amazon, and I’m currently working on some 3D-printed inserts for the Meijia case as well as a screen-cover.
The inserts are done, and the screen cover is in progress, but would the step files be of use to others once completed ?
Will do, I’m currently refining the screen cover, and need to test print it in TPU/TPE, but once that’s done (and I can figure out how to share fines and images here) I’ll make sure they are available.
Screen cover is almost done, it’s a slip on fit, which if printed in TPU/TPE seems to be just about right. It might slip off if the controller is shaken around with the cover in place, but I’m mainly using it while the controller is in the hard case (which is probably overkill).
Main hard case inserts are in two parts, the upper part is shaped to fit the RC Pro2, and includes some half round finger slots to help remove the controller, and cutouts for the antannae, and for any neckstrap screws.
The lower half of the case insert is shaped to fit the curves of the lower part of the case, and has a largeish space to hold any filters or the fitted neckstrap. The controller pretty much just sits on top of the inner corners of the lower insert, with the top insert making sure it doesnt move around.
