DJI Repair Centre - out of Warrenty - Wait for return label ? y/n

I tried these threads:-

I am sending my out of warranty DJI Mini-1 to DJI to see how much to repair. Confused if I wait for UPS shipping label, or as it is out of warranty send it via Royal Mail ?

I am guessing I wait two days for the UPS label ?

Brendan, I’d suggest sending it to Drone Doctor in the UK instead (also a lot cheaper on postage and no import duty when it gets sent back).

They’re a DJI approved workshop, and as a member of GADC you’re eligible for our discount - details in Members Only

So yes wait for return label - came two working days. Which gave free UPS shipping (via drop point) to Netherlands repair centre.

Cost of repair was £88.37 from €103.46 for Circuit Board module and Repair service (freight was discounted to zero). Paid. Was a delay in shipping (which they send me a DJI Pen to compensate). Ticket raised on 11 June back to me 26 June.

Now have a new Mavic Mini and they offered care package £35. Which as it was 2nd hand I did not have the option before hand.

So for the actually had a successful drone flight. Not FPV, but it was a flight.

Yep - really appreciate you having a crack Wayne as fixing.

Yes DJI are good - I was expecting the batteries and the remote to be landfill, but still a few flight to use on the new mini. Also on the plus side, I am little less stressed flying as I got more adventurous with FPV and I now have a valid care package.
