Do you put a UV filter over camera lens?

For years I’d never have dreamt of putting a cheap bit of glass on the front of an expensive lens, but as you said Darren, filters have come a long way since then. Now all my work cameras have Hoya filters on the front. My drones though, have no filters mainly as I’m often shooting in very low light.

I remember buying my first magic drainpipe back in 2000, the 72mm UV for that was well over £100, about 10% of the lens cost, no brainier though shooting ice hockey !
