Today’s Drone footage from the recent Drumnadrochit trip - Dog Falls in Glen Affric…
The second day of our trip to Drumnadrochit, a moe relaxed and local day after the epic 8 hour drive from Manchester the previous day…
The weather was wet and cold, a mixture of snow showers, drizzle, short clear spells and some torential rain - if you don’t like the weather in Scotland just wait 5 minutes and it will change - but it was flyable - just! This was the third location flown in Glen Affric - a stunningly beautiful and rugged Glen not to far from Loch Ness and Inverness - with 2 other pieces of footage still waiting to be processed.
Some close in flying to capture the falls proper, one almost accident - I accidentally hit the fly right control instead of turn right and came within inches of hiting the wall of the gorge - but thankfully we managed to bring home ‘Mighty Midge’ despite my clumsiness!

Thanks, I was in hotel with poor connection this morning and it went a little wrong when I tried to post it…
OCD Matey, footage needs to be edited and then I can relax, have another 4 days worth already uploaded as daily schedule, and another 20 or so still to do…
I know only to well about the ocd

Hi Suzanne, just watched your video on the falls, some tight areas to fly in, I am going there in just over a weeks time, I was wondering what the walk from the car park is like to the falls

The walk is about 350 metres, it goes up from the Car Park above the road, then descends to the falls, walk another 100m and there is a bridge that affords a view over the river bel9ow the falls… Enjoy, the colours syhould be spectacular, I hope the weather is good for you, we are just back from Skye and Lewis/Harris and had amazing weather…
Skye, Lewis&Harris all spectacular places to visit, and to fly the drones
