@DazC Thanks for that Darren. I see exactly what your saying. The worst thing I ever did was buying the Holy Stone as a cheap way to see if I liked flying. I know DJI are a lot more expensive, but well worth the money, I guess you get what you pay for. Reading the manuals and watching the videos I can only say that IMO the DJI outstrips the HS in every respect.

I flew the drone, just a short way in the garden and wow how stable it was and so easy to control. Thank you guys for your help and advice, that made the world of difference to me, In fact I even took off from the same place as the HS drifted from. pity I got a bit panicky and forgot to press the record button properly.
