I have read the other thread about flying in Croatia but am still a little confused. I have got as far as getting an operator number which I will put on my Drone before I go to Croatia in June of this year. Do I also need a Flyer ID and if so how do I get that? I am going to complete the A2 CofC exam before I go. Will this provide me with the same rules in Croatia as it will in the UK?

@Jaylay30 how did your trip go in the end? I plan to drone in Split this year myself, so am going through the research now to work out what’s required.

The trip was very nice thank you. We stayed on an Island off the coast near Dubrovnik. I got my EASA from the Croatian authority so am set to fly in Sardinia this year with no issues. I had no issues at all flying in Croatia. I hope you have a great time.
I flew in Sardinia last summer, you probably wont find a better more pro place to fly. Lots of beach footage on my channel and theres no issue’s or hate there whatsoever!
