It’s a big one

@group-mini-2

We are happy to announce our new 1.34 release.
This release is targeting our customers with the Mini-Series drones.

You can now install our unlock certificate on Mini1 / Mini1 SE / Mini2 / Mini2 SE on ALL firmware versions.
Please be patient during the installation of the certificate, the drone will reboot multiple times and it can take up to 5 minutes until the process is done.

The new version 1.35 includes following NEW features:

  • Downgrade FPV from 01.04.0000 & enable goggles2 support for FPV 01.02.0000 firmware!

With this new release you can now downgrade from 01.04.0000 to our beloved 01.02.0000 DJI firmware, which means you can use all of the hacks
As an additional goodie we added a new hack to activate Goggles2 support on firmware 01.02.0000

Hello Sparkyws,

are you really good with these Programm from DH?
I have a big problem and i’m now looking for a solution over 20 hours and i’m not very sucessful.

Its not possible for me to downgrade or Hack my Air2S because of Problems with IP Adress and i have really changed and tested a lot.
I tried two Laptops and one PC but i still have these problem all the time…

Maybe somebody know these problem and will help me?
I will pay for help if necessery.

Friendly Fabian

Hi Fabian

What Firmware is the Air2s on

Its the newest Firmware, because DJI send me a new once because of Hardware Problems (Warranty)

Firmware is: 02.04.2500
Anti Rollback Value: 5

But DH’s Birdmap said its possible to downgrade.

My Error Message is:
Cannot reach drone internal network. Please check your firewall/network settings and make sure you can reach the drone ip 192.168.42.2 ! Disable VPN Clients to assure you can connect to the drone network.

So i deactivated:

  • Firewall
  • Antivir Program
  • tried by WLAN for DH
  • tried a Hotspot for DH
  • tried to change IP
  • tried different PCs
  • followed instructions from there Blog 801

But nothing work and im not the biggest crack on PC.

Sending ping to: 192.168.42.2 is still working

If you want we can write by PN, WhatsApp or something else…i dont want to spam here …sry for that.

have you purchased a licence?

Of course, I bought the license and it has already been connected to the drone.

The DH Programm says its possible to downgrade and i followed the instructions but i habe these problem with IP and there is no solution for.

Its on every PC the same, and i dont know why.

Reach out to DH they usually pretty quick with an answer

So you have connected the Drone to DH, are you using the latest version?

Newest version (Desktop app): v1.35 (3. August 2023)

Thats right.

I’m using DH V1.35

The Drone is already connected and DH says its possible to Downgrade.

Installed:

  • DJI Assistant 2 (Ver 2.1.19)
  • DH Driver Package
  • Rebooted
  • downloaded File (DHD) for Air2s

Than flashing menu → Choose firmware → Select the downloaded .dhd (DroneHacksDowngrade) File → Click flash

and then i see these error i told you.

Share a screen shot of the Dronehacks screen with the drone connected

That’s no problem.

Support has send me a “How-To” but all that I have done and every time it’s the problem with IP.

Now I send them a Log-File and hope we will find a solution.
I have no idea what I can do now that it will work.

Was spending now over 24h and still at point zero.

Thanks for your help…

Try reinstalling the drivers

then

https://drone-hacks.com/software/download/driver

Reboot

See if the Drone connects to DJI assistant but then close it down (it must not be running)

Then try DH again

Also, check DJI Flyaway protection has to be disabled!

Perfect will try it tomorrow.

Actually my older Notebook (Backup) is updating so that I will try it with a second Windows system.

Hope it will work.

Thanks a lot for all your help.

So here is an update:

  • started an old notebook

  • updated windows complete

  • installed everything like it’s described in Blog 801

  • deactivated W-Lan

  • used LAN-Cable

  • tried to change IP-Adresse

  • tried everything which is possible for me

Now I can only hope that DH can help me by viewing my log file.
I’m not sure that they will be so friendly to refund if it’s not possible to hack my Drone but I still hope it.

If there is a crack in PC there is no problem to work on my notebook via TeamViewer in hope that somebody can help me.

Wish everyone here a nice day.

Friendly Fabian

It sounds to me that your service provider might be blocking the connection to DH

A VPN might work

Or tether your phone to the notebook and use the phones data connection

DH Connection works at startup and let me choose Firmware to flash.

But if I want to flash I get the message with the IP who’s not available. (192.168.42.2)

But I have no more firewall, no Antivirus software or something else.
If I like to change Parameters on Drone it works.

3 Computer have the same problem.

Flyaway Protection isn’t bounded.
Only the Drone to my DJI account.

After your advice it tested it with a hotspot from my Mobile phone but without success.

Maybe it’s a Windows problem… I don’t know… unhappy to say but I think it will not work for me.

By the way: Ping 192.168.42.2 is working fine.

The DH driver

https://drone-hacks.com/software/download/driver

puts the drone into a different bootloader mode, this allows the drone to be flashed with the bespoke firmware

Try a different cable, a different USB port, try rebooting the drone and reconnecting

Try connecting the drone to the PC when you hear the start-up tones

Also, run the DH .exe file from the C drive and right click and run as administrator
