I’ve been insured by Coverdrone for nearly a year and never made a claim and the renewal will be coming up shortly. I’m just wondering if anyone has actually claimed from them and if it’s worth having and do they require flight data etc to make a claim. What if you was a little further away than you should be when it falls out of the sky could you still claim?
I have no reason to claim just wondering if it’s worth renewing.
To insure or not - that is the question.
For me, insurance comes down to this thought:
cost of insurance v cost of replacing product myself = peace of mind
For me, I have a Mavic Air. To replace it now, the base price of just the drone seems to be around £600 or so. The cost to insure for me, with Eversure at last renewal was £40’ish so for me it becomes a no brainer so long as they cover what I want.
The other questions are not ones I can answer as not with Coverdrone but I found Eversure to be most helpful when I asked for clarity on some if their wording.
I have been with Coverdrone for 2 years and made a claim…it was sorted including repair within one week…very straight forward…would highly recommend!!!
Wow that was good service, thanks for that mate.
Thanks for your reply mate, I think I will be renewing it again.
