Drone Tweak and/or Ham file process

I subscribe to Drone Tweaks and used it succesfully on both my Mini 3 Pro and Air2s with a n1 controller. I recently saw it can be used on an Avata 2 as well. I’ve connected the phone with the App to my Goggles 3. Do I need to do anything further, I’ve noticed that there is no change to the frequency selection as it remains on auto which I understood to be the indication of FCC mode being active. Regarding the ham file, I downloaded from the link on Mad Techs channel. I ended up with a file when unzipped is showing 0 kb size. Is there anywhere where all of this is documented? Thanks

Thanks I had seen another video from the same guy but I didn’t notice the method in that. Quite interesting there’s no indication other than icreased range and speed.

And I believe the speed increase is only when flying in full manual

If you add the file to the sd card in the goggles.

You can change the transmission settings in your goggles to manual rather than the preset auto you will see it offers 3 or more channels rather than the 2 it
Offers when it’s not in FCC mode.

That’s another way of telling

It works with the Neo too. :+1:t2:

That’s correct, it’s just an empty text file, that is copied and pasted to the goggles SD card.

Ensure you turn the Goggles, remote and drone in the correct order.

I keep a copy of the file on my desktop, so every time I format the SD, I reload the file back to the SD card.

Thanks just done it now, annoyingly the SD slot wouldn’t lock as easy as nornal. All goog now though and I can now do manual selection. I presume stays in until a new version ? Thanks

No need once the file has activated the mod then it stays activated even without a card or file

The only time you need to do it again is if you reset the goggles

Thanks Wayne @SparkyFPV :+1:t2:

I’d assumed that I needed to reload it, each time.

That’s saved me 10 minutes of mucking about.
