Drone use abroad - barbados

So in a few months, I’ll be heading to Barbados for our honeymoon. I wanted to take the drone in the hopes to get some nice pictures.

I have checked drone assist and as you can see there looks to be only 1 warning in the area. Supprisingly it’s a yellow (warning) only above the airport rather than a red (NFZ)

But I am away from that area anyway. I’m doing more googling but do you think that going off drone assist is enough to know if I’m in the clear or not to fly.

I know in the UK I’ll pretty much only use that for checking but I want to ensure there’s nothing special outside the UK that I would need to check out instead?

Thoughts would be appreciated. Hopefully it’s as straightforward as it sounds and if there not a NFZ then I’m in the clear.

You’re not allowed to take a drone into Barbados without an exemption. A simple google search will bring up their rules and regs but you’ll need a minumum 250k insurance. Then you’ll need permission to fly and possibly a radio license. Its not quite quite as easy as just keeping away from airports.

Yeah I was wondering about local issues, as I say I was still going to Google about there specifically but was curious if there was any other advice generally for when going abroad with it. Shame about Barbados’ rules and regs then, would have been great chance to use it there

You can still fly, just look into getting an exemption
