So whilst the Police demand more powers, they canât be bothered to spend one evening in Ticehurst and use the powers and equipment they already have to track a single one of these âmysteryâ flights.

Ahh, at least if Russia ever invades our sceptred isle, theyâll know Ticehurst like the back of their hands. Valuable intelligence like âAvoid the old lady at No 23, sheâs a bit of a battle axe, and watch the chap who lives next door to the chip shop, he can get a bit riled.

Sound like an episode of Midsomer Murders! In fact I seem to recall there was an episode that featured drones!

The police can take the issue to the Foreign Office but itâs down to them if it escalates any further.
