A quick trip to the Southsea Angling Club car park at Eastney near Portsmouth yesterday as the sun went down, a little cloudy so didn’t get much of a sunset but video is quite atmospheric. I was a little concerned the radar at the entrance to Langstone Harbour might interfere with comms to the drone but all seemed ok.
I’ve hovered literally 8 feet from an active VTS radar, not effect whatsoever. 
Calshot? A few times I’ve contemplated asking them if I can fly real close … just to test.

…. I normally do close ups of the tower when the NCI volunteers have gone home.
Most, but not all navigational radars, of which these are, operate on very low power, so unlikely to be an issue.
