Edinburgh Airport flights delayed as drone spotted and police called in

The first drone I ever came across was one of these flown by a chap nr Singleton, I’d gone with the kids to a corn maze. Was really impressed and wanted one, looked on the inteweb when I got home and thought again , couldn’t afford it. But never forgot. Still think they look great and tempted to buy one as an ornament to add to my pre-digital Nikon camera Collection.

Batteries might be getting on a bit but they should still fly if theyre ok.

Quick Google search and new batteries (3rd party) look to be available to buy for the Phantom.

Of course officialdom will completely ignore the fact that only law-abiding flyers will be affected by more regulations

It’s a bit like how they reduce speed limits on road to combat speeders, when the people who are already ignoring the speed limits will simply ignore any new limits too :frowning:
