Anyone else noticed that the edit post option has disappeared from the forum, or is it just me?

It’s time limited.

As I say - there is a time limit and then the edit (pencil icon) becomes unavailable.

@TheBinman if you’re ever desperate to have a post edited, you can contact a TL4 member and they can edit it for you

Glad I looked this up - I was frantically trying to edit one of my posts, and it was driving me bonkers that I couldn’t do it… hey ho…
There is logic to this limitation.
It may be liked/replied to/quoted, and then edited version becomes something that would those people would not have like, and render the quotes/replies rather unfathomable.
Also, likes/reactions are time limited to change/cancel them.
If its a title change or something major, tag @Committee and one of us will see to it for you
I know you will, but you’ve got so much else to do, I don’t like to keep asking for things… Fingers crossed I can get posts right in the future… but thank you . 
If you don’t want to bother the committee then seek out a TL4 member who can also make amendments for you.

We’re more than happy to help, it’s why we are given TL4 in the first place to help keep the forum tidy and in order without taking the committee away from more important tasks. Give us a shout if you ever need anything editing or amending after the time limit has expired
