Nice, but you will find they were not so much navigational aid for British pilots, but warning signs for mostly American pilots, who were crossing the Atlantic and approaching Eire. The warning was they were approaching a neutral country. My book incidentally is in the main about the U.S 8th Air Force. As for you being Mercedes - I am ex McClaren. But more so Can Am than F1. So, what a coincidence we share
