Hi all, i know this isn’t a drone, or Betaflight, its a wing, with INav, but the principles are the same.
I’ve got a Speedybee F405 wing, a Foxeer elrs receiver, and Radiomaster Boxer tx.
The tx and rx are bound. I’ve got a solid led on the rx. which changes colour according to packet rate. However, there’s no stick input on INav, I can’t set an arm switch - nothing. I’ve got tx to rx, and rx to tx on the rx wiring, the soldering is good, the correct uart has been assigned, and crsf has been chosen.
I do get ‘rf critically’ low message when clicking on the 50hz packet rate. And I get ‘telemetry lost/recovered’ when unplugging and replugging the rx.
Model match is off.
I haven’t however flashed any rx firmware, or set a binding phrase. I DID set a binding phrase for an earlier model with the same tx, but this was with Betaflight. Could this be the problem?
I also successfully bound and flew a mini drone (mobular 7) with the Boxer, without messing around with binding phrases - it just immediately worked with Betaflight.
What more can I do?
Please, feel free to ask as many questions as you like!
I think that’s your problem, both must be on same main version i.e. 2.x.x OR 3.x.x
Pretty sure you can’t mix them.
Also double check ‘binding phrase’ it’s a key element for them to communicate
Sure the rx and tx are connected correct way round? TX to RX and RX to TX. I can’t get bound between major versions (tried it a few days ago), well 2.x to 43.x anyways. So if your bound make sure RX tx correct and that csfr is set oin the receiver tab
I’m so over the moon, I had come back here and say a big thankyou!
After a lot of fannying around, I reflashed the rx and the tx with the binding phrase (that I’d forgotten, but found in the Speedybee App toolbox) and IT’S WORKED!
So actually quite simple really…
This hobby is quite the emotional rollercoaster ride!
