What constitutes an emergency as far as the setting is concerned? For example, if the Mavic was set to CSC emergencies only, could you stop the motors using CSC if it was flying out of control towards a group of people?
Nope…
But then if it was flying out of control you probably wouldn’t be able to stop the motors remotely anyway

Is it possible then to be flying your drone and you just happen to be manoeuvring it and have the sticks in the emergency stop position and it suddenly then plummets to the ground?

I think this is what happened to my boss with my inspire (before I was the owner)
He reported that he was flying normally when all of a sudden the drone began falling and the props had stopped spinning. He claims it was a battery malfunction however nothing else suggests this, nothing in the logs and I have since flown on all the batteries with no issues.
Plus he didn’t have a clue what he was doing
