Emmerdale tonight Thursday young lad flying his drone in the street and passes to a friend to have a go with family looking on, regardless of Gatwick this was filmed after the law changed last year obviously research failed…just feeling annoyed
Also on the flight path to LBA.
I know a production manager on the set I shall ask him next time I see him.

I’m sure you know this, but not all aspects of Emmerdale are filmed ‘on the set’ and by that I mean the closed set they now utilise.
As I found out recently when heading down to one of my local flying spots (Southerndown, South Wales) it was rather crowded with film crew, etc… when I asked they told me it was a scene for Emmerdale. Having worked on the scenery side at the BBC many eons ago I can well believe this.
Old topic I know but the set is not actually in the Leeds Bradford NFZ. You would have trouble getting anywhere near as it’s on the Harewood Estate.

I was vaguely aware that Emmerdale had gone to a fixed set and all I was adding is that not all of it is filmed there as evidenced by their recent trip to South Wales for a cliff top scene.
