The section of M25 in Surrey between junctions 9 and 10 was closed last weekend due to roadworks at Junction 10. This section includes Cobham services, which were also closed apart from a few work vehicles.
Couldn’t resist getting the drone up and getting some photos.
I drive that section of the motorway everyday on my commute, and it’s normally a lot busier than this!!

Probably looked like that during covid too, unusual as it is also very unique

Congratulations on finding a piece of M25 without something on it. I once saw part of the m25 closed and had to laugh as vehicles etc were blocking each lane and motorway maintenence was waiting to pass. Even when closed it had a tailback of one.

Now if it had been me, I would have gone down and done a low level video at full speed along the lane divider stripes. Just for fun.

Not seen it like that since I stayed near there on the sad occasion of my uncles funeral in Cobham itself, I hated that night drive from Chester too but had to be done. Funny seeing all the lanes empty.
Off to Ironbridge, Telford today to have a fly around, I could fly direct from the place we are staying at but I need line of sight in case the drone does a runner😂
