Sorry to hear about this Chris. It must have been shocking and gut wrenching for you.
I would be interested to hear what DJI’s response would be. I also have a M2P which so far has been totally reliable after many flights. May I ask how old it is?

I’d attempt to repair it if it was mine, guessing it needs top and bottom shell, 4 arms, new ESC board and hopefully the camera gimbal is still ok…
Yes camera gimbal is fine, but I think repairs are beyond my knowledge level

Pleased to report that after inspection by DJI, a free of charge and fully repaired done will shortly be posted back to me.

Really can’t argue with aftercare like that!
DJI has actually sent me a brand new drone! Great aftercare.
