Iv fitted the above to my wing and ran it up for a few minutes while on the bench, on turning it off I found the motor was quite warm when I touched to my lip?. I understand there was no airflow cooling it due to it been on the bench but I’m not 100% how warm it should be i.e is this normal for a bench test…

Make sure the motor screws are well clear off the coils as this could the cause. Great motors - building a 7" with those atm (6s so ‘only’ 1500kv
