Faulty Motor

It’s good to use for testing, just don’t overload the the current rating of the ESC

Yah I just want to see if it spins up ok, if it does then its the motor if not its my board :sob:

Hi did you check for any play on the bearing ? it might have come loose.

Just soldered in my spare motor and it runs fine so it must be a dodgy motor. This must be the 3rd one iv changed on this so I may change from XING to something else.

Going to double check by soldering in the old motor again and running it but Im 90% sure its the motor …

Does the old ‘faulty’ motor feel and different when you turn by hand? Is the bell misshapen causing extra friction when turning?

Well all fixed, not sure what the issue was (maybe a loose connection ?) but Im glad I tried it one more time before shelling out for a new motor :man_facepalming:

Took the opportunity to stick some different props on so see how they go :+1:

Probably a dodgy solder joint if all you did was remove the motor and solder it back on. Good to hear you have it all sorted out :+1:t2:
