. These Websites are owned and operated by Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited (GADC, GADCL, Grey Arrows, Grey Arrows Drone Club). Our Websites are offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions of service contained herein and all other operating rules, policies (including, without limitation, Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited Privacy Policy and Community Rules) and procedures that may be published from time to time on our Websites by Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited (collectively, the “Agreement”).
Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using our services. By accessing or using any part of any of our Websites, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access our Websites or use any of our services. If these terms and conditions are considered an offer by Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited, acceptance is expressly limited to these terms. Our Websites and services are available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old.
Your Grey Arrows Account
If you create an account on our Websites, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account. You must immediately notify Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited of any unauthorised uses of your account or any other breaches of security. Members are only permitted one account. Members found to have multiple accounts will have all accounts suspended immediately. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions. Access to services provided by Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited is subject to reasonable use. Exceeding any reasonable use may result in limited access to some services.
Code of Conduct
At Grey Arrows Drone Club, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and responsible community of drone enthusiasts. Our goal is to promote safe and enjoyable drone flying experiences. To achieve this, we require all Associates, Members and participants to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

Safety First:
Prioritise safety at all times during drone operations.
Comply with all applicable drone laws and regulations set forth by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and any local authorities. -
Respect for Others:
Treat all club Associates, Members, visitors, and the public with courtesy and respect.
Refrain from engaging in any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behaviour based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or any other personal characteristic. -
Responsible Flying:
Check Drone Scene before flying for flight restrictions and NOTAMS.
Maintain visual contact with your drone at all times and avoid flying in restricted airspace or near airports unless authorised to do so.
Do not fly drones over large events, or near emergency situations. -
Environmental Awareness:
Fly drones with consideration for the environment and wildlife.
Pick up any litter or debris left behind after flying. -
Adherence to Rules:
Comply with all Club rules included in the FAQ and in the Terms of Service.
Follow the instructions of Club and Meet-up organisers during drone-related events. -
Knowledge Sharing:
Encourage knowledge sharing and support fellow members in learning about drone technology, regulations, and safe flying practices. -
Reporting Concerns:
Report any incidents or safety concerns promptly to the Club Committee.
Inform the Club Committee of any violations of this Code of Conduct. -
Maintain the Hobby’s Reputation:
Conduct yourself professionally to positively represent Grey Arrows Drone Club and the drone community.
Avoid actions that could associate the hobby with negative behaviour or bring the hobby in to disrepute.
By adhering to this Code of Conduct we can create a thriving drone community where safety, respect, and responsible flying are upheld.
Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct will result in sanctions, including the revocation of membership and participation rights.
Responsibility of Contributors
If you post content or material to our Websites, or otherwise make (or allow any third party to make) material available by means of the Websites (any such material, “Content”), You are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that Content. That is the case regardless of whether the Content in question constitutes text, graphics or videos. By making Content available, you represent and warrant that:
- the downloading, copying and use of the Content will not infringe the proprietary rights, including but not limited to the copyright, patent, trademark or trade secret rights, of any third party;
- if your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, you have either (i) received permission from your employer to post or make available the Content, including but not limited to any software, or (ii) secured from your employer a waiver as to all rights in or to the Content;
- you have fully complied with any third-party licenses relating to the Content, and have done all things necessary to successfully pass through to end users any required terms;
- the Content does not contain or install any malware or other harmful or destructive content;
- the Content is not spam, is not machine or randomly generated, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party sites, or to further unlawful acts (such as phishing) or mislead recipients as to the source of the material (such as spoofing);
- the Content is not pornographic, does not contain threats or incite violence, and does not violate the privacy or publicity rights of any third party;
- you will not use our Websites to promote other drone clubs, flying associations, groups, forums or web sites
- you will not post “auditor” videos or links
- you will not post political views or religious beliefs
- your content is not getting advertised via unwanted electronic messages such as spam links on newsgroups, email lists, blogs and web sites, and similar unsolicited promotional methods;
- your content is not named in a manner that misleads your readers into thinking that you are another person or company; and
- you have, in the case of Content that includes computer code, accurately categorised and/or described the type, nature, uses and effects of the materials, whether requested to do so by Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited or otherwise.
User Content License
User contributions are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. We may therefore use, promote, or re-share any of your content on our social media channels with the appropriate credit. Without limiting any of those representations or warranties, Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited has the right (though not the obligation) to, in Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited’s sole discretion (i) refuse or remove any content that, in Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited’s reasonable opinion, violates any Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited policy or is in any way harmful or objectionable, or (ii) terminate or deny access to and use of our Websites to any individual or entity for any reason, in Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited’s sole discretion. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid.
The Grey Arrows Committee, Challenges Committee and Advanced Members reserve the right to edit any topic title or post content in order to make it more relevant to the wider member base and to make it easier to find in search results. Your post may also be edited to fix or remove broken links and to adjust embedded media.
Subscriptions, Payments and Renewal
General Terms
Optional paid membership services or upgrades are available on our Websites. When utilising an optional paid service or upgrade, you agree to pay Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited the monthly or annual subscription fees indicated at the time. Payments will be charged on a pre-pay basis on the day you begin utilising the services or upgrade and will cover the use of those services or upgrades for a monthly or annual subscription period as indicated. These fees are not refundable.
Automatic Renewal
Unless you cancel any automatic renewals before the end of the applicable subscription period, your subscription will automatically renew and you authorise us to collect the then-applicable annual or monthly subscription fee (as well as any taxes) using any credit card or other payment mechanism we have on record for you. Automatic Subscription Renewal can be cancelled at any time. Subscriptions are not refundable.
Discussion Forum Rule Adherence
Any purchased subscription or membership does not automatically grant you a voice on the Discussion Forum. If you are in breach of the Community Rules your discussion forum access may be restricted or your account may be ‘silenced’, meaning you can read posts but not reply or create new posts, or your account may be suspended, meaning you can not log in to the Websites.
Responsibility of Website Visitors
Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited has not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material posted to the Websites, and cannot therefore be responsible for that material’s content, use or effects. By operating the Websites, Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited does not represent or imply that it endorses the material there posted, or that it believes such material to be accurate, useful or non-harmful. You are responsible for taking precautions as necessary to protect yourself and your computer systems from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and other offensive, harmful or destructive content. The Websites may contain content that is offensive, indecent, or otherwise objectionable, as well as content containing technical inaccuracies, typographical mistakes, and other errors. The Websites may also contain material that violates the privacy or publicity rights, or infringes the intellectual property and other proprietary rights, of third parties, or the downloading, copying or use of which is subject to additional terms and conditions, stated or unstated. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited disclaims any responsibility for any harm resulting from the use by visitors of the Websites, or from any downloading by those visitors of content there posted.
Copyright Infringement
As Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited asks others to respect its intellectual property rights, it respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material located on our Websites violates your copyright you are encouraged to notify Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited will respond to all such notices, including as required or appropriate by removing the infringing material or disabling all links to the infringing material. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited will terminate a visitor’s access to and use of the Websites if, under appropriate circumstances, the visitor is determined to be a repeat infringer of the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited or others. In the case of such termination, Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid to Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited.
Intellectual Property
This Agreement does not transfer from Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited to you any Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited or third party intellectual property, and all right, title and interest in and to such property will remain (as between the parties) solely with Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited and all other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited, or the Websites are trademarks or registered trademarks of Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited, or Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited’s licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Websites may be the trademarks of other third parties. Your use of the Websites grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited or third-party trademarks.
Advertisements
Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited reserves the right to display advertisements on your content unless you have purchased an Ad-free Upgrade or a Services account. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited reserves the right to modify any links which you share and automatically update them to use our own affiliate programme links. As an Amazon Associate, Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited may earn a commission from qualifying purchases.
Attribution
Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited reserves the right to display attribution links such as ‘Powered by’, theme author, and font attribution in your content.
Account Termination
If you wish to terminate this Agreement or your Grey Arrows Drone Club account you may simply discontinue using the Websites. If you wish to have your account anonymised and closed (thereby removing any personal data on your profile) you must request this by email. When anonymising and closing your account Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited will not delete any content you have submitted or any posts you have made. Any posts or content that contain your personal data must be deleted by you before you request your account to be anonymised and closed. You are unable to delete topics which have received replies. If you have started a topic and the first post contains personal data that you wish to be removed you must flag that topic for deletion. If you wish to have your account anonymised and closed in this way you must first cancel your subscription renewals. If you do not, we will continue to charge your card. You must then email info@greyarro.ws
using the same email address that you have used for your account on our Websites and your account will then be anonymised and closed within 14 days from the date of your request. If your Grey Arrows Drone Club account is terminated, any Public Liability Insurance cover that was in place will no longer be valid. All provisions of this Agreement which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability. Users who are identified as being an individual who has previously had an account terminated will also have their new account(s) immediately terminated without notice. Grey Arrows Drone Club may need to temporarily suspend or restrict your access to the Websites and Services we provide. This could happen without prior notice and for various reasons. If your access is restricted or removed it may not be possible for you to re-join Grey Arrows Drone Club in the future. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Websites are provided “as is”. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited and its suppliers and licensors hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Neither Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited nor its suppliers and licensors, makes any warranty that the Websites will be error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You understand that you download from, or otherwise obtain content or services through, the Websites at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of Liability
In no event will Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited, or its suppliers or licensors, be liable with respect to any subject matter of this agreement under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for: (i) any special, incidental or consequential damages; (ii) the cost of procurement for substitute products or services; (iii) for interruption of use or loss or corruption of data; or (iv) for any amounts that exceed the fees paid by you to Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited under this agreement during the twelve (12) month period prior to the cause of action. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond their reasonable control. The foregoing shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable UK law.
General Representation and Warranty
You represent and warrant that (i) your use of the Websites will be in strict accordance with the Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited Privacy Policy, Community Rules, with this Agreement and with all applicable UK laws and regulations (including without limitation any local laws or regulations in your country, state, city, or other governmental area, regarding online conduct and acceptable content, and including all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the country in which the websites resides or the country in which you reside) and (ii) your use of the Websites will not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Websites, including but not limited to your violation of this Agreement.
Fair Usage Policy
Access to, and the use of, Drone Scene and our Discussion Forum is subject to a Fair Usage Policy.
The Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is designed to ensure that visitors and members can enjoy a high-quality experience while using our sites and resources. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and by using our sites and services, you agree to this policy.
Drone Scene and our Discussion Forum offer various features and resources to enhance your experience. To ensure equitable access for all users, we may impose reasonable limits on certain features, such as:
- Access to mapping features.
- Access to real-time data layers.
- Frequency of content uploads.
- Size of uploads.
These limits help manage bandwidth and server load, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience for everyone.
Competitions and Prize Draws
Competitions held by Grey Arrows Drone Club are skills-based and require a question to be answered. Entrants who successfully answer a question are entered in to a prize draw. Grey Arrows Drone Club has a reasonable expectation that skill, judgment or knowledge of the prize is required to enter the competition. Entry to the Competition is only available to Club members residing in the UK with an active membership subscription. Non-members and non-UK residents are not eligible to enter.
Entry to a Competition can only be made online via https://dronescene.co.uk/competitions and ticket purchases can only be made using a debit or credit card.
Some Competitions are limited to one ticket purchase, other competitions have no limit on the number of tickets you may purchase. A maximum of 99 tickets can be purchased in any one transaction. Multiple transactions of ticket purchases are allowed where the Competition permits.
Each Competition has a Start Date, an End Date and a Draw Date. Tickets may only be purchased during the period between the Start Date and the End Date of the Competition.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative prize is available.
Entrants who successfully answer a question will have their ticket(s) entered in to a prize draw to choose a winner. The more tickets purchased by an individual, the higher the odds of winning the prize draw. The prize draw will be held live, online. A link to the live draw event will be made available after the End Date and the link will remain active until the draw has been completed. A live-chat will also be available during the live draw, the link to which will also be made available at the time. Entrants who answer the competition question incorrectly will not have their tickets entered in to the prize draw. Ticket purchases are non-refundable.
Winners will be notified by telephone call and email within 2 days of the Draw Date. You must ensure your contact details are up to date on your account. Our Privacy Policy is available at: https://greyarro.ws/privacy
Prizes must be claimed within 14 days of the Draw Date. Unclaimed prizes will be re-drawn at a future date and offered to an alternative entrant of the same draw. Prizes will be dispatched for delivery via courier within 7 to 14 days of the Draw Date.
Competitions winners will be invited to take part in a publicity opportunity. This is optional and is at the winners discretion. Grey Arrows Drone Club will only refer to and reference the winner using their publicly visible username. The winners real name and any other personal information will not be disclosed. A list of previous winners is available for participants to view.

Miscellaneous
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited and you concerning the subject matter hereof, and it may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorised executive of Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited, or by the posting by Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited of a revised version. Except to the extent applicable law, if any, provides otherwise, this Agreement, any access to or use of the Websites will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, excluding its conflict of law provisions, and the proper venue for any disputes arising out of or relating to any of the same will be in the UK. Except for claims for injunctive or equitable relief or claims regarding intellectual property rights (which may be brought in any competent court without the posting of a bond), any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be finally settled in accordance with the Comprehensive Arbitration Rules of the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Service, Inc. (“JAMS”) by three arbitrators appointed in accordance with such Rules. The arbitration shall take place in England, in the English language and the arbitral decision may be enforced in any court. The prevailing party in any action or proceeding to enforce this Agreement shall be entitled to costs and attorneys’ fees. If any part of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that part will be construed to reflect the parties’ original intent, and the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect. A waiver by either party of any term or condition of this Agreement or any breach thereof, in any one instance, will not waive such term or condition or any subsequent breach thereof. You may assign your rights under this Agreement to any party that consents to, and agrees to be bound by, its terms and conditions; Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited may assign its rights under this Agreement without condition. This Agreement will be binding upon and will inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors and permitted assigns.

Changes to our Terms of Service
Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement. It is your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Website following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes. Grey Arrows Drone Club Limited may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the Website (including, the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If we decide to change our terms of service, we will post those changes on this page.
