OK people so last night I tried out the FCC hack where you put the zip file onto the SD card and place in the goggles and waited a while and checked for new channels etc but this did not work so shut everything down and fired him back up and still no change sooooo I scraped the idea and formatted the SD cards so everything is fine however I was wondering who else has done this successfully and if DJI has done something to the latest firmware to stop us doing this in the UK/EU
My range is fine 600m around buildings etc and clear view about 800m but I’d like more (who doesn’t want more)
I’m aware it’s illegal but it’s for training purposes lol
You dont put a zip file on the card
you put the ham_cfg_support file, not the zipped file
No it still works
Ta bromeo I’ll give it another go later
Done many thanks
But you might not see the channels @Mads-Tech did a video on it, the hack is there if you follow @SparkyFPV above but you need some magic radio gear (tech talk) to see that it’s transmitting FCC
Mines got 3 channels showing now
Thats fot the Avata 2
On 40mhz yes thats correct on 10 and 20mhz you should get 8
Chances are the file is not correct.
Can you post a screen shot of the sc card with the root showing
It’s sorted Ian the OP had the zip file on the card
just tried to unlock mine, on 40 its showing just 1 channel, 20 its 3 channels and 10 its 3 again, ive tried formatting my sd card and recreated the ham_cfg_support file, still nothing appears to be working?
OK finally got it to work, by formatting a huge 128Gb card( stupid for 0bytes), finally got the RED format image in goggles to disappear, goggles accepted the bigger file and now everything is showing correctly, 3 channels in 40Mhz, 8 channels in 20Mhz etc.
