Ferry Bridge - Burton Upon Trent

Been wanting to fly this location since the first time I drove across the Saint Peter’s Bridge and saw this lovely 1889 Ferry Bridge ( I guess there must have been a ferry here prior to the bridge being built - should really do some research on this LOL )

Generally I am not an overly creative person so I have been trying hard to get a bit of creaivity into my footage - my main pain at the moment is finding decent royalty free music - the track used here the creator of it did have a load on Soundcloud but now its paid stuff for some reason.

Any way I digress here is the clip

Enjoy -

Originally a ferry boat ran from one bank to the other, the bridge was built by the owner of Bass. (Burton is my place of birth and home town).

Hi Mark - thanks for the info here - I did think it was built after a boat ferry operation. These sort of bridges are quite common across the UK and I think a lot of them also share the common name of Ferry Bridge - I know of one that is very similar in design to this one in Scotland near Glasgow
