Looking to buy some filament refills similar to this.
I have found quite a few 3d printable spool holders to use in conjunction with these refill reels.
But because there are many available, with more pros and cons that I would have imagined, I got to wondering if anyone here has a preferred spool holder that they would recommend?
What make are the refills?
Creality at this link, 2 for ÂŁ26 currently.
I would say a creality spool, but I can see a slight cut-out so even a Bambu Lab Spool should do, I have also found that Sunlu ones will take BL refills.
But and I say this from experience why pay that for refills when you can get decent rolls like this for less JAYO PLA+ Filament 1.75mm, 2.2KG, 2 Pack, Black+Grey : Amazon.co.uk: Business, Industry & Science
and they are great filaments too

Basically the older Ender machines used PLA normal, the newer machines like Bambu Labs that run at 500ms can use faster PLA+ or Hyper, same thing, same with PETG, I used to buy just Bambu Labs refills, not anymore I get what I need when I need it far cheaper from Amazon, normally always online if you need advice bud

I’ve had my ender 3 v3 plus around a year now, and only used creality filament so far.
I reckon on stocking up for winter printing, as I only have 4 reels currently
I started with one or two, now I have over 100 different colours 
3DQF is a UK company not far from @Banjonic if I recall correctly.
I recommend their filament, never had an issue.
They sell refill on some lines, I do recommend the colour fade range if colour is not important.

Colour fade also on ABS and PLA, used both with no problems
I like that colour fade roll idea. Thanks for the link. I have spliced ends of filament reels onto a different coloured new reel, so I’m not fussed with the colour change.
What I was wanting to do is print the sides and inner for the refill reel above, as it doesn’t come with any sides to it.
But as @yorkie9668 says, it isn’t worth it if there are cheaper “proper” filaments available.
