First attempt at sowing one all together

Well here goes, this is my first real attempt at stitching some pictures, drone footage and a tune together. Try not to laugh   All shot on my iPhone and DJI Mini 4. Edited on iMovie. Any hints, tips or ridicule accepted :+1:

We are behind closed doors! :joy:

Cracking video, and even better for being your first one, very well done!

Music was perfect, the feel of the video was enlightening and poignant, the footage and pictures pin sharp, a very nice bit of work…

Only one tip I would add, when planning to do any long range flights for hyper lapsing try not to make any micro adjustments - don’t change direction, move the gimbal or change height as it really becomes noticeable…

Blimey thanks Albion, I’ll post that crisp fiver to you this afternoon :joy::+1:t2:

Yes I spotted that any movement at all looks really jerky on speeded up footage so in future I’m definitely going to have to line my shot accurately before I set off. The actual bay shot was getting on for 2km and I was kind of panicking that I may never see my shiny new drone ever again :joy: in fact it was only afterwards that I thought ‘oh my… look at all that water’

But yes this is all sooooo much fun, I’ll be doing it again soon :+1:t2:

‘Slobs’, in Scarbados, never.

Good honest Yorkshire folks.

Nice edit though, iMovie is very capable, but take that step up and look at FCPX if Mac is your main platform.

Thanks Milkmanchris! Oops.. I’d forgotten about my derogatory comment, It was originally for made for home consumption :joy: Hopefully Wainetta will forgive me :joy:

I’ve not heard of that video software, I’ll check it out!
I had looked at Final Cut Pro but blimey it’s pricey

Quite liked it, but yeah, I’d get rid of the snooty opening credits unless it’s going back to private or your wanting some lively comments.

Try DaVinci, the free version is very capable (well beyond my scope).

I would also recommend DaVinci Pro, the free version is an awesome bit of kit

When (if), my video shooting & editing reach an acceptable level, then I will happily upgrade to the studio editition. For now I’m blown away with what the free version is capable of.

Lol, yeah, I know a couple of folks that have the Studio edition and Speed Editor, I will upgrade in the not too distant future, but atm the funds arent there yet..

Impressed here. Your first attempt is amazing. In all honesty it takes a lot to hook me to watch a video to the end. This is a video i watched all the way through. The positioning was good, the balance was impressive. The music to picture worked, not too long or short on timings.

Really liked it. Well done.

Well I’ve been knocking out videos on my phone for a while for my classic car business but never used drone footage and the big computer before :joy:
