Inspired by my mum, who’s been talking about this view “from the top of a bus” for years.

@Red1Stoney I presume this was for this entry Paul.
Sorry, yes it was. I thought I was attaching my comment to my photo, but seemingly that didn’t happen
Sorry - but the image is required for an A4 sized calendar cover. Your picture is not in A$ vertical aspect ratio and, when we tried to download it it crop to the correct size we found that it is only 607 pixels square - it wouldn’t be suitable for reproduction.
Plus there are only eight minutes to the competition closes. Can you provide a suitable image in that time?
There are a lot of pictures to choose from. You have a maximum of three votes only. The winning image will be used for the front cover of the 2024 Grey Arrows Calendar - which is why we insisted on images being A4 aspect ratio and vertical.
So please choose the image(s) you think are worthy to grace the front cover of a calendar!
The poll closes at 21:00 on Monday, November 27th 2023
Good luck to all entered a photo
And the picture that will grace the cover of the 2024 calendar is Drax Power Station, taken by @milkmanchris and ably cropped to fit an A4 vertical aspect ratio by the Chall Com graphic designers.
Plenty of space for the club logo and the year on the image!
Well done Chris, thanks to all who submitted pictures but there can only be one winner. Better luck next year!
Well done mate, great picture that, I remember coming back from port talbot wales for the industrial RTF & thinking what a fantastic picture you entered,

No, original composition is better, this has lost the isolation of the right hand group of towers.
