Flight restriction unlock

Hi there,

I just wanted to get a general sense of opinion with flight restriction. I recently passsed my PfCO but live in an area which is overshadowed by a flight restriction zone. Someone local enquired about my doing a roof inspection on their house. It’s paid work but falls under the flight restriction zone I could unlock it but just wanted to see what anyone else would or have done in a similar situation?

where are you based , what sort of restriction is it . if its class d you shouldn’t have a problem , red is a nono

I live in the restriction zone that comes under Northolt airbase.

never had that problem , but I would guess you would have to get permission from someone either the airbase or the caa , im sure others will have better advice than I can give
