Flight restrictions for Filey & Scarbourough?

I’m trying to work out what flight restrictions there are for Scarborough and Filey, they appear to fall under the attached flight zones which appear to be danger zones and I am looking for advice on what these warnings mean so that I can establish whether it is safe to fly a DJI mini pro 4 (Sub250G) in these areas with appropriate caution.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi @Droninon , it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

Could be something to do with the Fylingdales radars near Whitby also GCHQ have a site just outside Scarborough. Drone frequencies might interfere with their equipment or they don’t want footage of the site in the public hands??

That’ll be the military flying area D323.

Dont worry about it. The lowest flight level is 5000ft so its waaaaay above the drone limit of 400ft.

Unless you’ve hacked firmware and removed the limitations :face_in_clouds::face_in_clouds::face_in_clouds::face_in_clouds::face_in_clouds:

Many thanks for all of these responses.
