Hi All I’m visiting Bath next week and looking for tips and hints on flying in and around Bath. Especially safe Toal locations. I have looked at the council web site and they only seem to deal with commercial drones and there is only one recognised place to fly away outside the city for hobbyists. Would appreciate your input as it would not be worth taking the drone with me if I can’t fly anywhere.
Never had an issue in Bath.
Choose your toal times carefully, avoid the dirty unwashed public, and fly from public places.
If challenged, apologise, pack up and walk away.
Look forward to the shots.
Can’t help with good TOAL locations but the following is a view with all Dronescene layers turned on, except the fake DJI ones. All looks good to me and some nice looking spots have been pinned by our very own, and rather proliferous, @clinkadink
