Alas - but luckily for me - my visit to Sicily was on 2017 .. and there were no rules or issues, So can’t really help with the currant requirements.

Flying in Italy

If you’ve got a sub 250g drone with an Op ID through an EASA regulated country and its marked on your drone and registered through D-Flight (you would have to put its serial number etc to obtain your D-Flight account), then you’re good to go. IAW with EASA You will also need a flyer ID, which I recall having to enter in the D-Flight account info. I couldn’t find the latter in the EASA regs, but I couldnt get my Op ID from Ireland without passing the course anyway. Follow the guidance in D-Fligh…

I have registered with D-Flight and have got my QR Code.

Any suggestions on who would do printing for qr code stickers to pop on a drone?

I just reduced their size to about 15mm printed them on paper and stuck 'em on the drone with sellotape! You’re only there for a couple of weeks max and in my experience it’ll be hot and dry. In fact they have been on my batteries of the mini 4 pro for two years and are still ok. Just check they work, after your done.
