Flying in Jersey, Channel island. UK

Hi

Be going to jersey in the channel island next month
Hoping to do some flights along the north coast of the island and around Gorey and if poss St Brelade Bay which I feel is near or on FRZ ( jersey Airport )

Any tips I need to know and require, permission?
Going there from Luton airport
And bringing my Mavic Air 2s with my CofC cert

Thank you. Steve.

No Fly Zones will show you the no fly zone for Jersey and St Brelade does indeed come inside that zone.

Flying in Jersey does however come under the same rules and regs as the UK mainland. Flying drones safely in Jersey | Ports of Jersey

Jersey ATC can be contacted at atcinfo@ports.je if you want to try and request permissions for the FRZ

Thank you

Looking to do a weekend break to either Guernsey or Jersey at the end of the month (weather dependent) or in the spring.

I have read the drone codes to both islands which say flying is restricted to 120m, as expected. But Drone Assist app is saying that there is a large area in the Channel, which covers the whole of the channel Islands, that restricts drones to 50m.

Does anyone have any actual experience or knowledge as to what is correct?

That is how I read it
