I had cause to go to Lincoln a week or so back, fine weather and found a hole in the NFZs just south of the city ( it is not far from Scampton, where our brothers “ The Red Arrows” are based.)
I drove to the South Commons, plenty of on street parking at South Park Avenue, overlooking the area.
Walked across the the other side up a hill that is right next to the Bomber Memorial.
Sat on a comfortable bench seat, and flew over and along the South Common.
Very few people around, occasional dog walkers, by very quiet for a Sunday.
