Flying the Forth

I’ve been stuck in the wilds of Scotland for a week with work
On the way back down to England I stopped off at the forth bridge

Taking off from a little car park next to the South Queensferry harbour avoided the NFZ from the nearby area and was between two of the bridges

The Forth railway bridge is known officially on the railway as ‘The Bridge’; all others have serial numbers to identify them, but this doesn’t need one. In the same way the Severn Tunnel is ‘The Tunnel’, generally known as ‘The Hole’.

Don’t you feel better now I’ve told you that!

Nice shots. Eggscellent.

And I always thought ‘The Tunnel’ was the one under the English Channel?

Well done Paul, puts me in the mood for some proper nighttime flying… Only did it at the Big Meet part Deux near Corby.
