Flying through my parked car

I fancied having some fun with my Neo 2 in my lunchbreak today. So, I wound down the windows and opened my boot then flew through it. It started well until I decided to go through the very small sunroof. Didn’t end well. Lots of fun though!

@WooleySheep you are braver than me. I doubt my mini 5 pro would fit through my little fiesta.

My Mini 5 Pro was sat in the boot, in it’s bag, probably shaking, thinking I might get it to do the same flight!

Need goggles , FPV controller and some manual action

My wife says I need a padded room, but she’s just copying what my doctor said…

I would very much like to try goggles and FPV controller. Might ask nicely at the BM to see if anybody has a set I can try on my drone for a bit.

You’ll be inundated with offers of loan equipment.

I’ve never met such an incredibly helpful bunch of likeminded people in all my life.

There’s something about the people at GADC club meetups.

Nothing is ever too much trouble, people swarm to help find a crashed or lost drone, members let other members try thousands of pounds worth of kit without pausing for thought.

The people in this club are on a whole other level of helpfulness and generosity, it’s surreal :man_bowing:t2:

Don’t worry, my Mini 5 Pro would never be flown like that, nor any other drone. I am using the Neo 2 as my learning drone. I don’t want to hurt it, but don’t mind the odd bump to learn from my mistakes.

Of you don’t have at least 2 care refreshes you’re not flying right

Ive been known to let people play with the m30t in slow mode and at height after i see how well they fly their own drones.

It seems thermal and spotlight/loudspeakers shenanigans is a popular attraction.

It does come with the caveat of lost front teeth should anything off key occur ;p

Oh if it’s anything like my Neo 1, it can take a few bruises and laugh in your face asking for more.

Hopefully I won’t need to use it for a while! I do have the care refresh 2-year on both drones.

Miss Daisy badge? I know the film (ok, not seen it for many years).

Nice,
I would love to see it in flight! I wouldn’t want to fly such a beast, but would love to see you do so.

The Neo 2 is just the same. There is no way I would put it in a position where it could get damaged. The odd scratch I can deal with, but I love it too much to put it in harm’s way. It is though a great drone to learn how to fly, then put into practice on something bigger.
I would rather crash the Neo 2 than the Mini 5 Pro!
